Paul wrote:All the bishops who are gullible and don't know which end is up will go to bat for it. The whole bill is misnamed in order to deceive. It has nothing to do with health care and everything to do with insurance. Insurance is not health care. In Russia everyone is insured and almost no one gets good health care. Things that have to do with health care, like more medical schools, subsidizing medical students and opening low cost clinics are not addressed. The "brokenness" of the health care system had to do with its high and rising costs, but anyone who thinks that creating more demand without increasing the supply and creating another big bureaucracy to administer shelling out money to providers and insurance companies is going to reduce costs is ignorant of the real world. I am pleased that at least some Democrats took a stand on the abortion issue and put that provision in place, but even if it stands I doubt that it will be observed. All such such provisions that are included to get votes for passage get ignored or circumvented by the definers and administrators of the act. The Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is an example of being ignored and interpreted out of practical existence. |

creating more demand without increasing the supply You posted some time ago an idea which I agree with and that is public funding for medical schools |

I think of my 6 month medical leave back in 2003 when I took charge of my medication and pulled myself off of steroids because I went from walking normal to
slurring my speech and walking with a cane. Stuck with the same dumb cane now on the other side because I messed up my leg but I have to keep playing the game
for now. Missed getting to Church.
I miss a church that gave ride options but I'm not Protesting anymore... Maybe I need to sound more convincing? I miss being able to at least watch Mass on the computer... not even supposed to be connected but this computer is too OLD... I wish I could have converted to Linux somehow... Microsoft, you annoy me big time. I'll always be a DOS diehard when you could see what computers were doing, now we get pictures. My right foot is a bit swollen for the past few days too... assuming from whatever other injury that leg has but I'm waiting to be put back on welfare to get it taken care of... I know, I'm not supposed to know my body, I forget! Is this all part of health care reform too? It is too much like when I wanted to pull myself from steroids. I miss seeing my great uncle, the family DOC (he even made a house call for his mom, my great grandma... but heavens no, don't assume you, person, knows anything about your health anymore. I wish there was a Catholic radio station. Is this a new version of something like Agent Orange or Soylent Green?
