If there were multiple uncaused entities, then by definition you have polytheism no matter which way you cut it.Sure, if that's the way you want to define gods. But I don't think that weakens the criticism of the uncaused-cause argument one iota.
Now creation is so ordered that time is a requirement, in other words, time had a beginning as did the universe.Discussions of time and the concept of creation always seem to get bogged down. Time might have a beginning, but that does not mean that there was ever a time when time did not exist! The concept of creation simply breaks down when the time dimension is eliminated.
