A part of my community's Third Order Franciscan charism (reconciliation)...Fr. Paul Wattson, S.A. who started this as the Church Unity Octave, was himself
a convert from the Episcopalians to the roman Catholic Church by the example of Francis of Assisi; the Atonement Friars are a Third Order Franciscan community
and follow the same rule as my TOR's.
I've expressed openly here my differences with certain Protestant viewpoints, and our differences are real and must be faced. We are however, called to see what we have in common as Christians, especially now that anti-Christian forces grow more strident and our divisions give encouragment to the enemy.
