 I guess you're right. (I only watch Australian rules anyway  )
What the question boils down to is this...
Is a thing good because god commands it or does god command it because it is good?
If the former, then the believer must accept that god could make murdering children good. If the latter, then the believer must accept that we have no
need of god for moral instruction.

The problem here is that the argument is based on the unsubstantiated.
Is there a god? What is a god? We cannot even comprehend the physical world, how can we posit the immaterial? God ,as commonly defined, is a creation. If there is such an entity, it is beyond our imagination. |
