Happy Polish Constitution Day (a day late). Someone told me they do celebrate it here in WNY but couldn't find anything Friday on a quick search.

Hasah, I know you are a victim of shipping jobs overseas. Obama, as he pledged, is going to stop this. He will get much opposition from industry groups.
Contact your representatives and tell them you support the president

If I've mastered my cell phones (yeah, have 2 now) correctly, I received another call and left message with when I'm free. Also I don't trust cell
phones, I always gut the patteries out. :-p Did reply to two emails from the new version of a place I used to work for, long story... for 'bill
collections'. Replied to it in a nice way but basically saying unless you get into tech or CS again, not interested. I know in June (I think) they're
killing over the air tv so I still need to connect my converter box. My fractured (??) bone is healing and still babying it a little but moving that hand
around well enough. It hurts about the same as it did (I think) when that hand had it's first cortizone shot back in the 80's. :-p
I have a lot to say on off shore outsourcing but can't really say too much, at least... I KNOW I'm still being worked on re: my gripes about it. 2 apts next week on the same day and still searching but I think getting near the end of this all, I hope. I know in my mind, thank God for all things... even these. Lose my attitude I know, working on it, praying about it. I hope he works on getting our jobs back... & stop the kvetch I'm telling myself.

Praise God that May 3 is again able to be celebrated in Poland! I was over there in 1977 back in Communist days--just before Solidarity, etc. and the big
national holiday was July 22 which marked the establishment of the Communist "national liberation" government in 1944. Hardly "liberation"
if you asked the Poles--exchanging Hitler for Stalin. When Poland was eager to supply forces to the Allied push on Iraq in 2003, it struck me as not too
surprising they'd want to take on Saddam Hussein--they've had enough trouble from dictators with mustaches.
Peace, Bro. Mike |
